The TOY43 profile locks are divided into three types.

The first type of lock was used in cars manufactured before 2003. It has eight plates, some of which are divided each into two half-secrets, each plate located in its own shaft.

The second type of lock was used in cars manufactured before 2005. It has ten plates, some of which are divided each into two half-secrets, each plate located in its own shaft.

The third type of lock was used in cars manufactured after 2005. It has ten solid plates, located in pairs, in each shaft of the lock is two plates, which work in the opposite direction, one down and one up.

This tool is designed for type three locks.
These locks have ten inserts, and four levels of rifling.
The fourth tapping level is the deepest and the first tapping level is the shallowest.
All plates are numbered when stamped.

The door lock contains eight of the 10 plates, 3rd through 10th.
It has four shafts of two secrets working against each other.
